There are over 665,000 U.S. veterans working in the construction industry. Each year, more than 200,000 service members return to civilian life and over 15% of all veterans enter the construction industry. Individuals from the Armed Forces use skills learned from their time in service to their civilian professions. In construction, the entire project team is ultimately working towards one common goal–the successful completion of a building. Military personnel often share the same mission-driven mindset learned from their time in service.
