What are we looking for?

Alston Construction is excited about the opportunity to provide internships (or entry-level positions for graduates) for select college students in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other applicable majors.  We are looking for students who are passionate about the construction industry and who are committed to making the most out of their internship/position.  In addition, we are looking for students who share the same core values as Alston Construction and who have the initiative and desire to positively contribute to our team.

Internships

Come and experience a challenging and rewarding internship with Alston Construction Company.  Our Interns are considered valuable members of the team, not simply extra filing help for the summer.  Interns are exposed to many areas of Alston Construction, which may include estimating, preconstruction, project management, field supervision, safety, risk management, and corporate support services.  Exposure to these areas will allow our Interns the opportunity to obtain hands-on work experience and a real world view of the business operations of a nationwide general contractor.

Our interns typically work in an office environment, but may have the opportunity to visit and work in field locations. Interns may have the opportunity to work in one of our offices in the following cities:  Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Edison, NJ; Houston, TX; Las Vegas, NV; Memphis, TN; Nashville, TN; Newport Beach, CA; Reno, NV; Seattle, WA and Sacramento, CA.
