We are excited to announce that Alston Construction has been honored with an ABC West Tennessee Excellence in Construction Award for the Large Commercial category, recognizing the outstanding work completed on the A&B Distribution Facility in Byhalia, Mississippi.

This project transformed more than 139,000 square feet into a highly functional distribution environment, blending Class A two-story office space with a large-scale insulated warehouse built for performance and efficiency. One of the standout features is the innovative draft cooler system, designed so trucks can load and unload fully indoors — maintaining temperature control and protecting product integrity throughout operations.

From groundbreak to completion, the team delivered the project on a 14-month schedule, partnering closely with Gray Design Group, Alper Audi Structural Engineers, and a strong subcontractor team to bring the vision to life. Safety remained a top priority onsite, with zero OSHA-recordable incidents and a proactive safety culture supported by weekly toolbox talks, full-team safety meetings, and digital management through HammerTech.
