Alston Construction announces that we have received two prestigious awards for our work on the Central 9 Logistics Park in Old Bridge, NJ. We have been honored with both the NAIOP New Jersey Industrial Deal of the Year Award and the United Way of Northern New Jersey 2024 Industrial Impact Award.
The Central 9 Logistics Park, a state-of-the-art industrial development, features nine buildings spanning 800 acres and is set to create over 2,000 jobs, significantly boosting the regional economy. This project exemplifies innovation, commerce, and sustainable growth. We are also excited to share that Paragon Packaging, a woman-owned business, has signed the inaugural lease for Building 2.
Design meetings for the project began in 2021, with collaboration from 2020 Acquisitions (Owner), Bohler Engineering (Civil Engineer), and M+H Architects. These achievements are a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Old Bridge project stakeholders, who have successfully navigated numerous challenges. Senior Vice President Regional Manager Bob Murray said, “Congratulations to Team Alston and especially the Old Bridge Project Team. It’s been a challenging project with many hurdles, and you have navigated them well. Looking ahead, we are eager to start Building 9 as soon as the tenant is settled in Building 2.”
