Alston completed this 516,635 SF ARSC industrial facility, with 7,885 SF of office space and 193,364 SF of mezzanine for Amazon. In the Northwest, weather is a huge factor to take into consideration when trying to keep a project on schedule. Grading and major concrete activities were completed during the start of 2021 when the Seattle area was hit with record rainfall of more than 19 inches. There were project delays totaling 59 days, with 44 days being weather related and 15 days being supply issues. Even with all of these challenges, the project team did not postpone any early access dates or the launch of the facility, the only ARSC in nation to not delay launch in 2021.
