January 25, 2024 – Alston Construction, one of the leading industrial builders in the United States, is pleased to announce the promotions of Tom Degan and Jess Malone to lead our team of experts in cold storage and climate-controlled construction. For more than 35 years, Alston has offered its clients a broad platform of general contracting, construction management and design-build services for diverse projects from a network of 23 offices around the country.

Tom Degan has more than 25 years in the industrial cold storage industry. As Vice President of Cold Storage, Tom will leverage Alston’s in-house capabilities, with our successful track record of constructing complex controlled environment buildings across the nation. The Alston Cold Storage team has earned the reputation as a trusted resource for industrial developers and end-users of not only cold storage facilities, but also food processing and manufacturing.

Jess Malone has worked for more than 15 years with some of the nation’s leading brands constructing cold storage buildings throughout the country. In her new role as Director of Cold Storage for Alston, she will continue to bring years of experience to help our clients respond to the unique challenges of industrial controlled environment facilities.
