Alston Construction partnered with Caterpillar to deliver a 277,000-square-foot fabrication and parts facility for the company’s skid steer manufacturing department. The building includes 87,000 square feet of fabrication space, including a robotic welding operation and a 20,000-square-foot engineering office. The Sanford, North Carolina project was designed to connect to an existing production plant and paint operations center.
